Two movers carrying a queen mattress out the front door of a tan stucco house toward a white box truck

What size is yours?

60 x 80 in

Queen. Saatva puts it at 90 to 160 pounds, so it is a two-person carry.

Nothing in a bedroom moves the same way. See what each piece takes, starting with mattress removal and disposal.

How it works

  1. Call and tell us what is going

Bed size, floor, stairs, and anything else from the room. A photo helps if we ask for one.

  2. Get a price and pick a time

The estimate is free. Same-day pickups happen when the schedule has room.

  3. We carry it out

You point, the crew lifts. Nothing needs to be at the curb.

What changes the price

We do not publish a flat rate, since a king upstairs is a different job from a twin in the garage. These are what we ask about.

  • Number of piecesA mattress alone, or the whole bedroom.
  • Stairs and turnsA second floor adds time. A turned landing with a rigid box spring adds more.
  • Taking it apartBunk beds and big frames may need to come apart before they fit through a door.
  • Distance to the truckA long drive, a locked gate or a dirt road can add to the carry.

You may not need us

If you are in the City of Albuquerque and can get a mattress to the curb, the City will take it for free. Here is how the options compare.

Common questions

Do I have to bring it outside first?

No. We carry it out from the room, including upstairs bedrooms.

Can you take more than the bed?

Yes. Dressers, nightstands, headboards and frames can go on the same trip. The services page covers each one.

Will my old mattress be recycled or donated?

We will not promise that. New Mexico is not in the national mattress recycling program (Bye Bye Mattress), and most charities here refuse used mattresses. Beds4Kidz takes clean ones in good condition, so call them first if yours qualifies. Furniture is much easier to donate.

How soon can you come?

We work 7 am to 7 pm every day. Same-day pickups happen when the schedule has room, so call early.

Still on the bed? Call us.

One call gets you a free estimate. If the City pickup would do the job for you, we will say so.
